Great post! I have finally come to terms with rewriting and see it as critical to great writing. Thanks for sharing the list of things you look for when editing. The one thing that trips me up is the "You" and "We" frame. I'm not sure which is better to convey a message.

My is writing is almost all in the “I” frame
