Have you watched White Lotus? Most memorable thing for me - other than reinforcing Mike White isa genius - was the teenager son losing his phone/tablet and after a few grumpy days becoming the only happy person on the show.

"The promise of connection, to many places and people. Incredible power. Amazing convenience and benefits. Now you can move anywhere - live anywhere." - This was great, I love the analogy between phones and cars making our lives "easier" when it's actually making us lonelier and more isolated.

I recently switched to a Lightphone, and it has made a big difference. It’s pretty rudimentary, but it gets the job done. The next iteration will have a camera, the lack of which is the only real drawback, as I have young kids and wish to document special moments.

No, I don't believe so. It has calling, texting, clock, alarm, and calculator. Screen is kindle-style e-ink, it cannot display pictures or images. If you receive and image in a text, the text is forwarded to your email with the image as an attachment.
